The Star Pairing is undoubtedly our star activity. It begins in the winery with a guided tour of our subway cellars of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries to finish in our spectacular place "The Garden of Varieties", where we merge the two worlds that we are most passionate about: WINE and STARS. It is one of the most awarded wine tourism activities in Spain. The catered dinner is served at sunset and consists of several skewers specially designed to pair with each wine. After dinner, the stellar pairing begins, in which 5 wines are paired with 5 constellations with the help of luminous glasses and by looking at the firmament. The 15th and 16th century underground cellars house an ethnological museum that reveals the secrets of the civilisations that have cultivated the vine in Rioja Alavesa. In addition, the Wine Museum exhibits centuries-old tools that tell the story of the evolution of viticulture in the region.
Innovation is our hallmark. The Garden of Varieties, located on a majestic meander of the river Ebro, cultivates more than 130 types of grape, including the ancestral Marawi, used in biblical times. This space is not only a tribute to wine-growing diversity, but also a vantage point offering unparalleled views of the Rioja landscape.
