Uruñuela

Uruñuela stands in an excellent location where both the climate and the soil on which vineyards grow well account for the excellent quality of its grapes and wines.

In Uruñuela the main activity is grape-growing. The vineyards are characterized by the fact that the soil is rich in minerals and poor in organic matter, has good drainage and plenty of water deep down so that the roots can penetrate through the different layers of earth and benefit from the nutrients they provide.

Industrial activity is in the form of small facilities related to the agrifood sector, e.g. flour, animal feed and pickles.

Thanks to this, and to improved services and industrialization in recent years, the village currently has a population of 900 and continues to grow at a fast rate.
