Arrúbal
Description of the municipality
Arrúbal has been populated since ancient times due to the advantages of being close to the River Ebro. This is evidenced by the Roman road, military tracks and tombstones found in the locality, although there are no visible inscriptions on them.
The 20th century enabled the village to achieve high levels of well-being and progress, as it grew territorially and economically and commerce flourished.
As well as agriculture, industry is also present, mainly located in the nearby El Sequero industrial estate, making it one of the few places in La Rioja that has tripled its population over the last 100 years.
