Rioja Alta
Hervías
Hervías is a village in the interior of La Rioja 42 kilometres from Logroño, and its inhabitants live off dry farming.
The village has a few noble houses and the Palace of the Counts of Hervías, built from masonry.
One of the most curious anecdotes about the place is that it is believed that an old town, Negueruela, lies under the waters of the nearby lake, although remains of that settlement were recently found elsewhere.
