Route of the 200 forgotten monges
A route through La Rioja that covers two monasteries - Suso and Yusodeclared World Heritage Sites, a thousand-year-old cave scriptorium, and the subway cellars of a winery -Vinícola Real - 200 Mongeswith the storyline of the Codex Albeldense, a monumental work of medieval miniature. The route includes a meal at the winery to enjoy a perfect pairing between the typical Riojan cuisine and the wines of the 200 Monges family.
The route includes a meal at the winery to enjoy a perfect pairing between the typical Riojan cuisine and the wines of the 200 Monges family. The participants in the route receive a story of historical intrigue entitled "From Albelda to Suso. The Journey of an Extraordinary Codex" written by Andrés Cámara, author of the novel "Vigila, the Scribe". The route does not include an accompanying guide. The journeys between the winery and the monasteries and the scriptorium will be made in the visitors' private cars."

Bodegas Vinícola Real S.L. was founded in 1989 by Miguel Ãngel Rodríguez in Albelda de Iregua, a small village with a remarkable history whose roots extend far beyond the medieval times.
