JILABÁ

JILABÁ

The bodega is located on the outskirts of Lapuebla de Labarca on the road heading west to Elciego and lies at the highest point of the village with wonderful views. It is composed of four classically designed French buildings including the winemaking area and the barrel cellar, in which lies a beautiful chapel in honour of the patron saint of Lapuebla de Labarca, Saint Bartholomew; the tasting room, named "Bohío" is an extremely welcoming and charming single story glass building of "Belle Epoque" style which is surrounded by beautiful flower gardens and vines.

The wines are produced from our 25 hectares of vines, many of which were planted over a century ago and which are painstakingly maintained to obtain wines of only the highest quality. It is also possible to visit the old bodega, with its nearly 400 year old underground tunnels providing visitors with ´an original taste´ of the past. The wines which are now made carry the brands ´Jilabá´, ´Begin´ and ´Señorio de Begín´. They are a selection of young wines, Crianza, Reserva, cava and ´Trasotoño´, a subtle sweet white wine.

This is our wine, original, exclusive, unique.
