BODEGAS MUGA

Family winery since 1932 - Barrio de la Estación, Haro, La Rioja

Three generations of the Muga family are part of the history of Rioja wine. Bodegas Muga was founded by Isaac Muga Martínez in 1932.

Nowadays, the winery is located in a beautiful La Rioja farmhouse in the Haro wine heart, the Barrio de la Estación.

Years have passed and history has stopped. That is our pride, to continue being a family winery, which marks and gives character. Being faithful to the tradition and craftsmanship, together with a clear vision of the future, has created a personality of its own and is transmitted through our wines.

The origin of the same, comes from our vineyards located in the area of Rioja Alta and Tempranillo variety, along with the rest of autochthonous varieties. In Muga, the cooperage is homemade and handmade.

We control the origin and quality of French and American oak wood and we build our barrels with the greatest care.

True to its philosophy of making the world of wine known to all its visitors, Bodegas Muga inaugurated the Torre Muga Space in 2008. 400 m2 distributed in three floors topped by the exempt and differential element of this winery and its family: Torre Muga is an enotourism proposal, an environment where you can meet, discover, learn and taste wine at its best, a place where traditional and modern combine.
