BODEGAS BENJAMIN DE ROTHSCHILD & VEGA SICILIA (MACÁN)

Bodegas Benjamin de Rothschild & Vega Sicilia was born in 2004 as a result of the union of Tempos Vega Sicilia and the Wine Company Barón Edmond of Rothschild. Both companies share the idea of ​​producing great wines in Rioja, a unique and inimitable wine region.

After a period of five years of study of terroirs and acquisition of 92 hectares of vineyards, the project takes shape in 2009: it is the first vintage of our two wines, Macán and Macán Clásico. The philosophy is to offer a modern and particular vision of the elaborations of Rioja following the Bordelés model of first and second wine.
