Familia Valdelana Crianza

VARIETY: Tempranillo. The Tempranillo clusters are compact, medium-large in size, and the thick-skinned grapes are small. It has a high concentration of tannins with medium acidity. AGING: 12 months in barrel (50% French oak and 50% American oak), and at least 12 months in bottle. VINEYARD DETAILS: Over 40 years old. Clay-limestone soil. Mediterranean climate with Atlantic influences. VISUAL PHASE: Deep, intense cherry red, with a bright appearance. AROMATIC PHASE: Fruity character with balsamic notes, backed by a clove wood base. Blueberries and wild blackberries, with a hint of vanilla and cinnamon. TASTE PHASE: A balance between fruit and oak, with great structure and rounded, fine tannins. Intense and persistent aftertaste, featuring black fruits melded with a touch of cocoa.
