Description of the municipality

Badarán is located on the left bank of the River Cárdenas, one of the tributaries of the Najerilla.

The route through the Valley of San Millán is ideal for walking and enjoying views of the landscape and the river, as well as visiting nearby places such as San Millán de la Cogolla, Cañas, Santo Domingo de la Calzada and Nájera.

To enjoy the area’s cuisine, try its garlic soup, Rioja-style potato stew or lamb chops grilled on old vine branches, and any of its good wines.

The town has bars, restaurants, country guest houses, a few hotels, bakeries and small shops.
