San Adrián

San Adrián lives off agriculture and agrifood companies, metal and other manufactures; these are the companies that provide most employment for its inhabitants.

Services also make a major contribution to the town’s economic activity, and all these factors combine to make it the main town in the Ribera Media area of Navarre.

it is home to the National Food Laboratory and has a notary public, mutual benefit companies, hotels and sports facilities with an indoor swimming pool and a gymnasium. All these services make it a good place to live.

The town’s population grew thanks to the improvements made in the canning industry in the 20th century. By exploiting the high quality of the produce from the fields it expanded fast between 1920 and 1960, and this activity became the most important in the social and economic development of the town.
