Zone wines

This classification “Vino de Zona” can be recognised from the labelling under the naming of its corresponding zone: Rioja Alta, Rioja Alavesa and Rioja Oriental.

Its distinguishing feature is that all the grapes in the wine must belong to that zone, thus reflecting the identity of the territory.
