BODEGAS RUCONIA
BODEGAS RUCONIA is a family winery that originated in 1986, although its ancestors have been dedicated to viticulture for more than a century, but it was in 1986 when the Saenz de Santa María family acquired it in the town of Arenzana de Abajo (La Rioja).
The winery consists of a modern stainless steel production hall with a capacity of 600,000 liters, with fermentation temperature control, an underground aging warehouse, with totally new french and american oak barrels, as well as the bottling area, warehouses, offices, laboratory, social area and exhibition for sale to the public.
This winery, together with the facilities of Arenzana de Abajo, have a total capacity of one million liters.
Due to all this we have as a result wines with leading quality in Rioja, and contrasted by the numerous awards achieved both in Spain and abroad.
THE WINE MADE FROM THE VINEYARD
In Bodegas Ruconia we are known for giving the greatest importance to the raw material: THE GRAPE.
Our 20 hectares of vineyards, located in Cenicero, Uruñuela and Najerilla Valley, as well as another 120 hectares owned by our faithful suppliers, follow an exhaustive control from pruning to harvest, controlling the treatments and the maturation in order to transport the grapes to our winery in perfect condition.
