BODEGAS IDIAQUEZ
Bodegas Idiáquez was founded in 1972 and in that year we started the commercialization of the entire harvest. It started with the proper media of the time (concrete tanks, grape trodden, manual bottling, etc.) but we currently have the most modern facilities; with stainless steel tanks with capacity to elaborate 200,000 liters and temperature control in the fermentation. In short, the most advanced means for the production of quality wines. Bodegas Idiáquez is heir to the tradition of our grandparents, who already practiced the art of making good wine, and we hope that the new generations will continue with the same philosophy of good work, and knowing how to transmit the pleasure of tasting it.
Bodegas Idiáquez has a total extension of 14 hectares of vineyards, approximately 95% corresponds to the Tinta Tempranillo variety and the rest to the Blanca Viura.
The vineyards are located in three locations of Rioja Alavesa: Baños de Ebro, Lapuebla de Labarca and Leza.
The result of the conjunction of the three zones is a very balanced and representative Rioja Alavesa wine.
