Vivanco Brunes. Vino De Municipio

The super expressive, clean and fresh Brunes is produced with a blend of organic Tempranillo and 10% Maturana Tinta from Briones, so it's a village red, the new category of "vino de municipio" from Rioja named after the old (medieval) name of Briones, Brunes. The nose is piquant and spicy, very aromatic, balsamic and with good ripeness but something fresh without being herbal. Smooth and grassy, showing fine tannins red cherry and graphite notes and nuanced oak. A red with lightness and freshness and a spicy twist.
