Circular 11/2012. Decision of the
Plenary of 14-12-2012 on the matter
of mandatory fees for issuance of
certificates of guarantee and face value thereof

The face value of the self-adhesive guarantee labels and seals issued by the Control Board of the Denominación de Origen Calificada Rioja as a certification of the issues that these witnesses accredit with respect to the protected wines, has been updated in view of the latest rise of Value Added Tax, with new prices as set out below. In addition, pursuant to the provisions of Article 43 of the Designation and Control Board Regulations, mandatory fees arising from the issuance of these certificates are also raised.

Thus, the Control Board Plenary of the Denominación de Origen Calificada Rioja, convened in a session on 14 December 2012, took into account the following agreement on the matter:

* The Plenary is notified that as from 1 January 2013 a new value will come into effect for the guarantee documents of 2,118 euros per thousand for gum paper and 7,865 euros per thousand for self-adhesive paper. It is also notified that the minimum fee per delivery will be 2,118 euros per thousand documents.

This is hereby notified for general knowledge and such effects as may obtain.
