Founded in 2017, Bodegas Rosario Vera is located in Laguardia, in the heart of the Rioja Alavesa. Rosario Vera is one of the last and most special projects of the Gil Family, owner of small wineries distributed in 10 denominations of origin throughout the Spanish territory.

The heart of the Rioja Alavesa inspires the most endearing project of Gil family. Rosario Vera is not just another winery; it is the way to remember the mother and cofounder of the family trademark more than one hundred years ago. The wines are an embrace from the children and the grandchildren to the woman that endured where everything began and fought against winds and adversities for the love of her land and her family.

Her descendants have chosen one of the most famous winegrowing zones in the world to pay tribute, near Sierra Cantabria. Rosario Vera vineyards, some of them more than half a century old, are part of the landscape of dolmens, legends and medieval walls. In this natural environment, the liveliest young wines are born to release in each sip a cascade of memories and surprises.
