Bodegas Hermanos Peciña, S.L. was founded in 1992 by Pedro Peciña Crespo with his three children in a small winery in the center of San Vicente de la Sonsierra, where only “cosechero” wine was elaborated. In 1997 the firm began a new phase, with the inauguration of the new bodega and the elaboration of white wines and aged red wines: Crianzas, Reservas and Gran Reservas.
Family winery located in the heart of La Rioja Alta. Dedicated to the production of high quality wines.
The production comes from our own vineyards, which allows us to make a careful selection of the grapes.
Every 6 months the manual racking is carried out by the system of gravity and decanting from barrel to barrel, eliminating the clarified and filtered ones, respecting to the maximum the personality of the wine.
For the production of signature wine: "Chobeo de Peciña", we have an innovative production system designed by the winery itself.
A vintage is made in boxes and the grapes pass through a selection table, allowing whole grains to enter by gravity in tanks located in cascades.
- In order to make known our wines, Bodegas Hermanos Peciña offers free guided tours to our winery during the opening hours.The tour lasts about 30-40 minutes and all our falicities are visited while we explain you the whole process of the wine elaboration. The tour ends with a tasting of our wines. To make an appointment is recommended.
- Bodegas Hermanos Peciña has a dining-room prepared to meet from 10 to 30 diners, where you can hold your business meetings or banquets and taste our wines in perfect marriage with the cuisine of the region.
- Bodegas Hermanos Peciña has a shop where, in addition to their wines, you can buy all sorts of delicacies from the region: peppers, asparagus, artichokes …son on. A selection of great champagnes and orujos from Galicia are also available.
