Briñas

Briñas is a town full of history whose main characteristic is its tradition, affection and passion for the culture of wine.

Bathed by the waters of the River Ebro, the most common species here are poplar, aspen, weeping willow, alder and elm, although its croplands are mainly occupied by vineyards. These disappear from 600 metres above sea level to give way to cereal fields.

At its highest point, scrubland alternates with repopulated pine trees, while species such as box, strawberry trees and gall oaks are more common in the more humid areas.
