Imperial Visit
CVNE was founded in 1879 by the Real de Asúa brothers. Today the Company is still led by the fifth generation of the same family. Imperial was first produced in 1920. The goal was simple: to make the best wine possible. Since then, CVNE has struggled to achieve the same goal and does not produce every year, only those considered excellent.Imperial is the first Spanish wine to be named No. 1 in the world by the prestigious Wine Spectator magazine. Guided tour of the rooms and cellars where Imperial is produced. Tasting of Imperial Reserva and Gran Reserva with an appetizer of Cameros cheeses and acorn-fed ham in our special tasting room. To this day CVNE is still controlled by the direct descendants of the founding family, the Real de Asúa. In the heart of the traditional neighborhood of “Barrio de la Estacion” in Haro, CVNE offers an unforgettable walk through its Wine Village, a combination of tradition and innovation.
